Benefits for Mexicans on Exit Fees
Mexicans from all regions can benefit from exit visa fee exemptions promoted by the Government of Belize. These exemptions are organized based on the region of residence and/or the length of stay. See the rules:
- Residents of Othón P. Blanco, Quintana Roo: are exempt from all exit fee charges, regardless of the length of their stay.
- Residents of Campeche, Yucatán, Tabasco, Chiapas, and Quintana Roo (except Othón P. Blanco): do not pay any fees if their stay is less than 7 days. For longer stays, they must pay BZ $40 (approximately $405 MXN).
- Mexicans from other regions: if the visit is less than 2 days, they only pay a minimal fee of BZ $2.50 (approximately $25 MXN). For longer stays, they must pay BZ $40 (approximately $405 MXN).
For visits exceeding the mentioned periods, full fees apply, which include the Departure Processing Fee (BZ $30.00), the Border Development Fee (BZ $2.50), and the PACT Conservation Fee (BZ $7.50).
