A Heart for Art

If you’re an art connoisseur, viewing an exhibit featuring Belizean culture and heritage is easy! Visit the colonial-style architecture in Dangriga town or the antique castle-like building in Banana Bank to admire paintings expressing cultural traditions and lifestyles in Belize. Take a trip to Placencia Village in February as vivid paintings, detailed wood carvings, and other handcrafted items fill the sandy streets and beachside for its Sidewalk Festival. Murals by local artists also flood the country no matter where you are, and the best part is that all these activities are free of cost!
